Job Title: Production Manager Work Location: Minhang – Shanghai Report to: General Manager Job Description: 1. Monthly productivity to meet the target under HSE, Quality & cost standard - Making sure that employees work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures and work with HSE to provide training for employees in their work tasks to help reduce or eliminate the risk of workplace injuries; - Lead manufacturing team to achieve targeted productivity in rmb/kg with HSE & quality compliance within budget or fixed objective, including manpower, Headcount , other & supplies expenses. 2. Quality improvement & Cost reduction - To optimize the resources in order to minimize the costs, to improve the quality and lead times; - Continuously strict control of non-quality items, re-work, non-conformity, waste & etc. 3. Lead and coordinate industrial phase of new product development - Coordinate with Project & R&D team to realize production of new product development and production process modification; - Actively participate and sustain the development of new products in BSSH, while insuring the required level of Quality and Safety in further operations of manufacturing; - Process control, improvement and optimization. 4. Propose and implement a sustainable and high level organization, aligned with Company orientation (regulated & specialty markets) - Work with HR to set up training plan & PPS plan to maintain first line mgrs’ qualification at stable & high level to ensure Company develop towards regulated & specialty markets; - Coach and training operators to improve their skills & conscious. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor of chemical, mechanic or engineering or above; 2. Familiar with Fine Chemical Batch production, good knowledge on related production & process; 3. Lean manufacturing knowledge is a must, 6 sigma knowledge would be preferred; 4. General Financial Knowledge on financial statement, costing & etc, possess knowledge on PP module of SAP system; 5. Good quality & cost conscious; 6. Open-minded, problem solving skill, result-oriented; 7. Good communication skill and team leader skill; 8. Good English skill in both oral and written; 9. More than 10 years solid working experience in manufacturing area in chemical plant, more than 5 years working experience as management role in multinational manufacturing companies; 10.
