However, in order to abtain the success of these condensation reactions, a carbodiimide-type reagent of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) are usually combined with N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) as the solvent to pre-activate the functional groups of –COOH and −PO43− in the condensation reactions. But this procedure makes the whole experimental processess more cumbersom。What`s more , the high price and easy deliquescence feature of these reagents leads to the increase of the fabricating cost of the biosensor.
