Share your poor experience in a strange place.

I do not know whether you have ever been bullied in a new place. This is really a problem. You go to a new place, for business, for tourism, for friendship, or for knowledge. You are new there, you know a little of local tradition or language, then you are BULLIED. Someone hits you, someone robs you, or someone insults you. You feel very dissapointed, and very angry. However, we can change nothing. More poeple may experience this after you. So, sharing your experience here may be important for other people. Your experience can help others. We can make our plan, such as if we tour, we can avoide such a city or spot, if we have to go there, we will become more careful, try to protect ourselves and our families, and relatives. This makes sharing your poor memory important. Let's come on. |

I will tell my poor experience here first. That happened many years ago when I was still in Shaanxi. I stayed in Yangling, a town about 80 km to the west of Xi'an. My friend, who will board the train in Xi'an asked me to go to Xi'an to buy a railway ticket for him to a southeast city. At that time, early ticket selling only happened in offices of ICBC in Xi'an. I went to Xi'an by bus. Then, by city bus I went to downtown. When I got off the bus at a stop called Wulukou, I went along the street to find an entrance to the sidewalk. The bus stopped at a place where passenger will enter the motor way. At this time, three guys, about 20-30 years old came, they shouted at me, why did you walk on motor way? Please pay 30 yuan as the fine. I replied, there is no entrance to the side walk here. But, they pointed to a place with a very narrow outlet, in fact, the lower part of this so-called entrance is blocked for about 20 cm from ground, the upper part is open, about 15 cm wide. I quarreled with them, but they were very aggressive, and made a obvious threat to me. I had to give them 30 yuan. They said they were local officials in charging of the street. I was really very angry, and felt a strong fear in heart when I was surrounded by three strong local guys. In fact, money is not a problem, but the feeling of fear, of no safety makes me feel very unseasy. This is my poor experience in Xi'an, it happened about 11 years ago. |

| In my impression,the public security which is so bad in my hometown.Before I was 18,I had not been no other places except my native place.Then, I went to school in Beijing.My father always telling me:you must be careful when you are outside.Since then,I have been llived here for 5 years and there is nothing bad happen.Every year,I went home,I felt that the place there which is the most perilous.People looks very unkind.Fortunately for me,I am tall and strong,and usually nobody make trouble for me.Now, everything is OK,but I think my father is right,you must be careful and that will make you safe.So，in my experience, don`t be careless when you in a strange places. |

It was a long time ago, and me and my friend were walking down the street and saw an old man carrying a pot seems to be the antique. My friend is a kind of rich people and he loves to collect antiques so he standby and ask how much the old man would sell. At the beginning the old man open quote for eight hundred thousands, my friend turned around and discussed with me he thought if the stuff is a real one, he would like to pay four hundred thousands. But I stopped him as I saw the old man's cheating face. We played the trick that we do not really want something like this and we started walking away, the old man yelled out for twenty thousands, such big change made me believe that antique is actually a fake one, my friend still had a wish to acquire the stuff even there is a big chance it is not a real one. I stopped him the second time and we kept on walk away, at last the old man yelled that he want to sell us at two hundred.... Then we were joked and my friend has no more interest to buy that thing because it is absolutely a fake one, the old man confested. |

I don't have that cheated by the driver or the local expriences,but I have ever this exprience.Almost 8 years ago,that time I was a senior, one day nightfall, I must go to school,but it was too late,no bus.At that time a motorcyclist came to us,and said he would go there too,if we gave 10RMB for paid he would give me a lift.A stranger "good"man,and I,a girl,in nightfall? My parents of course doubted and didn't agree.But that man shouted,I was in good heart how can you doubt me,sincerely.And I felt so sorry,and I ignored my parents' and got on the motorbike to go to school. To this day ,when I think of it,I am still shocked.  |

Well, I used to suffer campus bullying when I was in elementary school. Some guys from middle school or in higher grade robbed my pocket money for many times but I didn't dare to fight against their behaviour, which prevented myself from physical harm but encouraged their robbery more or less. Fortunatley, I was never subjected to any bullying after that. My classmates and colleagues tended to be friendly and warm hearted, so that I could usually adapt to the new circumstance in a short while. I think I should be grateful for friends and folks around but maybe it is also attributed to my laid back personality. |

I have experienced many. I was cheated by a taxi driver, a motor bike driver, salesmen in the store, etc. Fortunately, only some money was shifted to their pockets. Until this March I dare to go to a strange city alone with a clear destination and address. I'm still on the road to grow up.  |
