Yeah, boy, you have the right to hate it. It's the same with Zongzi in the Dragon Boat Festival. Most people like it, others maybe not. That's nothing. I still dare not to light the firework however my younger brother teach me or encourage me. But you can learn to appreciate the way others enjoy it and cherish it.
When I was a senior student in my high school, I had eaten a mooncake for a whole hour. In it it's the beef and sent by a kind younger girl in the middle school whose home was in the county. My home was far from where I studied, the holiday was just half a day, and I had no relatives nearby to spend it with, hence you can see how I cherished it.
The moonlight only shines more brightly where it's needed.
