One person's Mid-autumn Day

Today is Mid-autumn Day. It is a very important and traditional festival in China, preceded only by the Spring Festival.  On this day, people come back home to enjoy family reunion. It is because the full moon is round and symbolizes reunion, as a result, the day is also known as the festival of reunion. All family members try to get together on this special day, and I am no exception. During the recent school years, I rarely go back home to enjoy the Mid-autumn Day with my families. But this year, I want to go home, I am eager to return!! So this morning I got up early to catch the long-distance bus home (My hometown has no railway station). However, what the most disappointing and frustrating was, the tickets sold out!!!!  Not only the direct bus, but also the tickets of the nearby route, so i spent one hour coming back to school by bus with a hungry belly!!!  What was worse, My roommates all went back home, So I stayed alone in my dorm, and tonight no moon cake, no family, only myself, oh no, also the voice of China. I hope today could past fast, and tomorrow come soon.  Finally, I wish you all a happy Mid- autumn Day!  I wish you all getting better and better!  |
