[交流] Questions about Geobacter strains

1. Does all the Geobacter strains have the conductive pili? Are there any Geobacter strains who do not have conductive pili?

2. Can nutrient broth be used for the cultivation of Geobacter instead of the specific culture medium for it?

3. Can the Geobacter be cultivated aerobically?

I am curious and so fetch a few essays but cannot answer all your questions,
I guess the conductive pili is the major part to solve nuclear contamination and from the following essay, if some are specially DNA-modified to grow without pili, they will easily got ruined.
