someone says that being a perfect man here nowadays means he has a high salary, a car, a apartment and preferably a high stature. meanwhile, woman should be married before 27 otherwise she will be called "sheng nv". no matter how successful she is professionally, a woman is nothing until she is married. this kind of idea is still common among Chinese. as for blind dating, people will not just look for the fetching smile or spark of chemistry, but also for the promise of money and connections. |

| Blind dates, in some degree, can be very important to one's success of his/her future lives. When you meet some guy, who you are not familiar with, it usually means broading your view of your own filed. For example, it is limited for us to know people outside our field, beacause we spend most of our time doing experiments and reading documentaries. Dating some one who is absolutely unaware of your work field will make you learn something new and fresh to compensate your weak parts. Furthermore, it is human nature that we all feel excited about meeting someone totally new, and maybe that's the most fascinating part of the processs. |

My suggestions are that: First, respect each other. No matter how you think of the blind date, how you imagine him or which kind he really is. To respect him from inside may add to your elegance. On the other hand, though at last maybe you have no affections for him, you can be friends. Second, prepare the best. Dress up and wear some makeup if it's acceptable to you. Most of the boys judge you from your appearance at the first sight. You're at the right age in your life, 25 or 28 is the same, so be confident and be true to yourself. A good appearance can mean your attitude toward life and your life style. Third, be tolerate. Whatever it turns out to be, it's Ok. Treat it as a game, so you need not to be nervous.
