Cell immobilization technology rise in the 1970 s, is the key content of the modern biological project technology. With the appearance of technology of the immobilization, it is come true that high cell density, high speed fermentation. Immobilized cell has many characteristics, such as the fast growth, quick response, pollution-resistant ability strong, can be continuous use and be beneficial to product separation, therefore the immobilization technique used to prepare cellulose ethanol, is likely to be our development direction in the future. The Response Surface method (Response Surface Methodology, RSM) is a kind of scientific method getting the mathematical model through the local test regression fitting factors and the global function relationship among the results. It can optimization and evaluation the influence factors on index level and their interactions, thus it can determine the optimum condition of multiple factors the system effectively.
