[交流] How much money will be put in the red packet for wedding?

It must be an exciting news that my classmates will hold their wedding ceremony.
The newlyweds both are my good friends.
They announced the good news in the QQ zone and Renren.
Two days ago, the prospective bridegroom gave me a call to invite me to their wedding.
I was so happy that I forgot to say congratulations.
According to the tradition, the people who will attend the wedding will prepare a red packet that is a kind of red paper containing money. So do I.
Now I am a little stressed because I don’t have much money but I have to spend much on red packets.
I admit the weddings of my friends can also be my burden.
The amount of the money in red packet has been increasing compared with the past years.
And an even-numbered red packet will be desirable, such as two hundred Yuan, six hundred Yuan.
In my hometown, I guess six hundred is needed.
I am over burdened and stress now…. Will you have such trouble?
How much money will be put in the red packet for wedding in your city ?

Hehe, during the National Day,there are four of my classmates will get married, they are all my good brothers. I am going to send the red packets with RMB 600 per one. Hehe, it's a big budget for me!

But we can get together, I haven't seen them since graduation, I miss them so much.

Fortunately, they are all in the same province , so I think my eight days holiday is enough.

So Shuixian I think the amount of money is not very important, friendship is priceless.

For us, 200-400 is enough for one red packet. Most of my friends do not want the red pakcet. It is just the presentation of our regards, it is not "the more, the better".

it depends on your condition.if you are a student, you can give less than 500 to your  very good friends, i think. and you can ask other friends who are also invited to your friend\'s wedding.it is import that you should keep the same step on the red packets.anyway, how much you give your friends, they will give back to u more. so, giving the red packet not too big and not too small is good to you all.

That is a common problem in China,especially to those who just finish his college  life and begin to work.don not see it like a burden,think first,why they put money in the red packet?that means good luck and best wishes,the amount does not affect the relationship between you two.a gift or a wishes from a old friend always make us happy,it is not because the price of the gift, only because you konw that you are not alone and someone are looking at you somewhere.wish you be happy and so do everyone.
