A second study, conducted to further explore the results of the positive findings in the Chromosome Aberration assay in V79cells, revealed no increases in the frequencies of cells with aberrations at concentrations of up to the maximum concentration tested (1500 mcglml for 4 hours without metabolic activation with S9, and up to 1000 mcglml for 4 hours and 300 mcglml for 18 and 28 hours exposure with S9 mix).
