被check了5周，发邮件问了下，回复是通常需要60天，怎么回事呢？

已经被check 5周了，还没消息，心里很忐忑！发给北京大使馆的回复基本都说“还在处理中，请耐心等待”，还说一般需要3-4周。但发这个邮件“FMJVisas@state.gov”问了下我的check状态，却说一般需要60天，这是怎么回事呢？难道我的情况特殊吗？求高人解答！送金币 具体回复如下： Thank you for contacting the Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center. A check of Department consular records indicates that your visa application is currently undergoing administrative processing in order to verify your qualifications. Administrative processing usually lasts about 60 days or less, but can take longer in some instances. We realize that any period of wait can be frustrating, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the nonimmigrant visa program is to facilitate legitimate travel to the U.S. Nonetheless, all U.S. Embassies and Consulates must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law. While we cannot predict when the processing of your case will be completed, please be assured that the Consulate General and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that it is adjudicated as soon as possible once your qualifications have been fully verified. When complete, or if additional information from you is needed, you will be notified by the Embassy/Consulate consular office. We hope this information is helpful.
