Timescale
It would take approximately three years for me to complete the research during which I have confidence to produce high quality papers published in the related journal.

Mid 2013---mid 2014: 1st year
        Literature review and data collection to the proposed research by discussing with advisors and independent study.
        Conforming the scope and planning of the project

October 2014- September 2015: 2nd year
        Researching the theories related and begin establishing models by using neutral network techniques
        Exploring the strategies applied in selecting stock portfolios and test samples.
        Make analysis of foreign exchange market liquidity and methods to measure it  
        Conforming the structure and content of the thesis with supervisor

October 2015- September 2016: 3rd year
        Completing the program by writing high quality journal papers, make presentations about the research top and submit the thesis.

好好改进你的proposal，那个jason算是很好的了，告诉了你个事实。当然如果你觉得你老课题很有潜力的话，深挖下去，多写点内容，就像写grant proposal一样，说说背景，为什么你的课题重要，然后换个导师投。
