今天收到了一个美国一个大学教授的回复，大家觉得希望大不大 XXXX Greetings. My name is XXX and I'm a professor in the materials science and engineering department at XXX. Your resume' was brought to my attention by Professor XXX(这是跟我们组关系比较好的美国教授，我请他帮我推荐的). I am starting a research program to develop XXX XXXX XXXX(这是介绍他现在要做的课题。) If you wish, I would be very happy to provide specific details regarding the planned research Please let me know if you are interested in a post doc position at XXX related to the XXX program. Also, I should be grateful if you would indicate when you expect to complete your PhD degree and if you would ask your research advisor, Professor XXX(我的老板), who I have met many times, to provide a letter of recommendation.
