sharing the good way to improve your listening and speaking skills with us ?

Hi ,Chongzis: As the title mentioned ,everyone may encounter one circumstance you always distract your attention unconsciously when you hear the English record,in the same way ,when you hear one word that you feel so familiar without remembering what the word is or its meaning,you will stop hearing and think over this word for a while ,during this minute time ,long words have been passed without your attention ,so ,as you awake ,you will find you have missed so much information.  Anyway ,everyone has the same experience ,I believe ,right?  Ok ,although we all get the point of this problem,how can we confront and get it on the right way ? I usually spend much time on the VOA special English for the beginners ,which is so slow and clear that you can get it completely ,However ,the wrong pronounce I have used to ,I could not have the right meaning the moment I heard the right one ,so in my way ,the most important thing is to learn the right pronounce of the words.this is my point . And ,what is your problem on this ?do you have any better idea ? come on ,just share with us .  |

Lauguage is just for communication! From my perspective, you should not force yourself to learn English! Try to enjoy, when you are watching movie, you can watch time by time, until sometimes you can just very naturally speak out some of them. You can enjoy while learning! For oral English, Of course, we are not native speaker, but we know only practice makes perfect! Try every chance to speak English! If you have chance, talk with native speaker, naturally you can speak very fluent English! Thank you!   |

| I have to say my key point is perseverance.I've bought a book which was full of news from the VOA standard English to practice my listening skill.At first,I rarely figure out a whole paragraph,but I forced myself to listen and consult the English-Chinese dictionary then I listen and listen again until I catch all the words and understand the whole meaning.I have left half an hour everyday to listen for almost one month and now I can probably understand a piece of news without looking up the dictionary. |
