I got my driving license in Hong Kong the year 1987, it was not a straight pass, I failed the first exam by a silly mistake, I failed to stop promptly when a crazy taxi U-turn suddenly in front of me. Anyway my second exam was successfully completed and driving license granted. I had to complete a minimum of 40 hours driving sessions before entitled to examination, and all kinds of skills including road lessons, parking etc. but one special session we drove a skaty car just like you are driving on snow ground to train your response and skill of control. That was really scary. |
