Chemical and thin-film strategies for new transparent conducting oxides MRS Bulletin. Volume 25, No. 8 August 2000 P45 A.J. Freeman, K.R. Poeppelmeier, T.O. Mason, R.P.H. Chang, and T. J. Marks Abstract Northwestern University conducted a study to synthesize and characterize transparent conducting oxides (TCOs). The research team focused on bulk and thin-film phases in the (Zn-Cd-In-Ga-Sn)-O quintinary oxide system.
