Position: Postdoctoral position in medical image processing and analysis Organization: Siemens Corporate Technology China Location: Beijing Description: The Imaging and Data Processing Research Group in Siemens Corporate Technology China is seeking a talented postdoctoral candidate for medical image processing/analysis research & development. Siemens Corporate Technology China, based in Beijing, is one of several Siemens Corporate Technology research and development centers worldwide. The Imaging and Data Processing Research Group is developing advanced technical innovation in the field of image and data processing to address the needs of China and global market. In this position, the candidate will conduct leading-edge research and the development in one or more of following topics: validation of biomedical image processing and analysis algorithms, statistical modeling and data analysis, prototyping and implementation of innovative image and data processing algorithms. Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D, in electrical engineering, computer science, or biomedical engineering, with strong R&D experience in the fields of image processing, computer vision, machine learning or data mining. Strong programming skill in C/C++ or Java is required. Expertise in ITK, VTK, OpenGL or Open Inventor is preferable. Good communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
