Post-doctoral position - Role of the Ubiquitin-proteolytic system in the establishment and maintenance of the C. elegans germline : Paris, France

The primary research focus of the project will be to study the role of the ubiquitin-proteolytic system in the establishment and maintenance of the C. elegans germline using a combination of genetics, molecular, cellular and proteomic approaches. We are seeking applicants with expertise in C. elegans biology and genetics. Some expertise in biochemistry and proteomics would also be welcome.
Candidates must be less than 34 years old, hold a PhD degree in Molecular and cellular Biology or Biochemistry, have at least one 1st author article published in a peer reviewed journal and have a strong knowledge of English.
In addition, we value candidates who demonstrate independent thinking, good organizational skills, and a strong motivation. Qualified candidates are encouraged to email a statement of interest, a Curriculum Vitae and contact information for two references to Dr Lionel PINTARD.
