[交流] 【weekly topic】Let's share our experience of watching Olympic

This may depend a lot on our age. For a man of 40, I have watched several Olympic Games. Young worms may watched less. However, whatever the number of Olympic Games you watched is, what is the expeience you want to share with us? The first Olympic Games  I watched is that held in Spain, the Barcelona Olympic Games. At that time, I was still in college, it happened during the summer vacation, I watched many items. The most impessing compettition is gymnatics, I still remember a very slim girl, Lu Li, she got a gold medal. I watched the game on the TV of my uncle in my hometown. It is not hot in my hometown in summer. At that time, TV was not popular yet, that of my uncle is a black and white one. When the Atlanta Olympic Games happened, I was already in Xinjiang, as a teacher. I watched the games on the TV of one of my colleague's. Condition at that time was very poor. I watched TV in the dining-room, while the couple were sleeping. You know, there is nearly a 12-hour time difference between Atlanta and Xinjiang. So, watching TV by myself in a dark room was a little hard. When I felt very sleepy, I would have a nap on the long stool in the room, there were many mosquitos in the room, I was often attacked during my naps. Later, I also watched the Sydney, Athen and Beijing Games, and the condition of watchig TV was much, much better, but I nearly forget everything about these events, except the show at the opening ceremony of Beijing Games. Furthermore, I did not go to Beijing to watch the matches. London Games came now, it seems I will not spend much time on watching it. What is your experience of Watching Olympic?
