SUTTC 2012 Call for papers The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT, https://www.sut.org.uk/) is a multidisciplinary learned society that brings together organizations and individuals with a common interest in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering. On behalf of the Organizing and Technical Committees of the 2012Society for Underwater Technology Technical Conference (SUTTC 2012), we have the honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the conference, which will be held in Shenzhen, China, September 26-28, 2012. This conference is the first eventin China hosted in the name of SUT. It is hosted by China University of Petroleum, Beijing, and also endorsed by SUT China, China Classification Society, Chinese Society for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Chinese Society for Ocean Engineering, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), Husky Energy, CNOOC Research Institute, China Oil Service LTD (COSL), Offshore Oil Engineering Corporation (COOEC), China National Petroleum Corporation Offshore Engineering LTD (CPOE), SinoPec Research Institute for Engineering,National Natural Sicence Foundation of China (NSFC), and K.C.WONG Education Foundation, Hong Kong. The goal of SUTTC 2012 is to provide a platform for the researchers to discuss the technology of developing oil and gas resources in deepwaters, especially in the South China Sea. The subjective of the conference is “Underwater System in Deepwaters and Oil/Gas ResourceDevelopmentin the South China Sea”.The topics are as follows: 1 Technologies and engineering for Subsea Production System including subsea Christmas tree, subsea manifold and BOP, etc. 2 Design, construction, installation and testing for deepwater drill risers, subsea pipelines /risers 3 Flow assurance and other safety challenges in oil/gas transportation by deepwater pipelines and subsea production system 4 Technologies for design, construction and installation of deepwater floating structures 5 Theory of reliability with application for floaters and subsea engineering structures operated in ocean, arctic and other offshore conditions 6 Equipment and technologies for subsea emergencies, maintenance and repair in deepwater oil/gas development 7 Technologies and engineering for hydrates and offshore renewable energy resources such as wave, wind and tide energies Paper publication: All paperswill be peer-reviewed by two or three referees, and all accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of SUTTC 2012 by Petroleum Industry Press. Selected outstanding papers from SUTTC 2012 will be recommended for publication in the SCI-EI indexed and EI indexed journals. Please submit your papers by email attachments tosutchina@cup.edu.cn. All papers should be no more than 6 pages in length and must be written in strict accordance with the format. Notice: If you have no time to write a 6-page paper, an oral presentation is also welcome. In this case, please send us the title and the abstract of your presentationin accordance with the format in our web: www.sutchina.org. For more information you can visit the conference web at: www.sutchina.org Prof. Laibin Zhang, Chair of the SUTTC 2012 Organizing Committee Prof. Shouwei Zhou and HengyiZeng, Chair of the SUTTC 2012 Technical Committee 5th July 2012 SUTTC2012 会议征文 为加强国内外深水水下技术的交流，推进我国南海油气田的开发，水下技术学会（Society for Underwater Technology，SUT， https://www.sut.org.uk）将在2012年9月26-28日于中国—深圳举办首届水下技术学会技术会议（Society for Underwater Technology Technical Conference,SUTTC）。 水下技术学会是全球水下工程最具影响力的学术组织，于1966年成立，总部设在英国伦敦，是一个聚集了关注水下技术、海洋科学及海洋工程的机构和个人的多学科的学会。此次会议是第一次以SUT的名义在中国召开水下工程相关的会议，将邀请30-50个海内外专题报告，全面介绍水下技术的最新进展。 此次会议由中国石油大学（北京）主办，SUT中国分会、中国船级社、中国力学学会、中国海洋工程学会、中国海洋石油总公司及其研究总院、哈斯基能源公司、中海油田服务有限公司、海洋石油工程股份有限公司、中石油海洋工程公司、中石化工程技术研究院、国家自然科学研究基金、香港王宽城基金会等单位协办。会议主题为“深水水下系统和南海油气田开发”，内容将覆盖： 1. 水下生产系统（采油树、管汇、防喷器等）的设计、建造、安装、测试等关键工程技术； 2. 深水钻井管系、海底管线及立管的结构设计、建造、安装及测试技术； 3. 深水油气田开发工程模式及关键技术； 4. 深水管线及水下生产系统流动保障技术与油气安全输运技术； 5. 深水浮式结构设计、建造与安装技术； 6. 浮体及水下工程结构的可靠性理论及应用； 7. 深水水下应急维修装备及技术; 8. 海底水合物及海洋可再生能源。 为保证本次会议的学术质量，吸引更多的高水平学术论文，现向全国水下技术与海洋工程工作者公开征稿。所有投稿的文章将经过2-3位技术专家严格审稿，通知接收的文章将发表在SUTTC 2012论文集（将由石油工业出版社正式出版），同时会议将评选出优秀论文，推荐至国外SCI及EI检索的期刊发表。 投稿要求： 内容具体，突出水下技术领域的创新与成果，具有较重要的学术价值与应用推广价值，未在国内外公开发行的刊物或会议上发表或宣读过。要求论文不得超过6页，并且严格按照会议给定格式书写。请将来稿在7月27日以前发送至邮箱：sutchina@cup.edu.cn。 注意：如果您没有时间撰写文章，我们也欢迎您给大会做相关的报告，请把您报告的题目和摘要发给我们，格式请参考网页：www.sutchina.org 热情欢迎各位专家学者相聚中国南海基地——深圳。关于本次会议更多信息请留意主页：www.sutchina.org 如果您有任何的疑问，请随时联系： 段梦兰： mlduan@cup.edu.cn 张玉： zyzhangyu1225@yahoo.com 张来斌教授，SUTTC2012 组织委员会主席、中国石油大学（北京）校长 周守为、曾恒一教授，SUTTC2012 技术委员会主席、中国工程院院士 2012年7月5日 [ Last edited by book2005593 on 2012-7-31 at 20:56 ] |
