A nice experience in the holiday.

It is really very hot and humid in this city, the weather is much different from that of my city. In my city, it is hot, but dry, while in this city, it is humid and hot, really hot. Sweats run down our cheeks and backs every day, on the way to the classroom, to the canteen, and in the canteen. We have to have bath every day. While in such a weather, we are listening to the lecture of five foreigners. Four of them are from USA, the other is from Canada. I have ever read publications of some of them, so it is a very nice experience for me to listen to their lecture and have discussions with them. This afternoon, at supper, I discussed with one professor for about 30 minutes, and poured all my questions to her. It is really a very, very nice experience. She is nearly the top one expert in our field. I have read many of her papers. It seems the rain will go on, and our lecture will go on, too. |
