性质:该品熔点143-145℃。

制备方法:由2-乙氧基萘醛([19523-57-0])经氧化而得。2-乙氧基萘醛与高锰酸钾在碱性丙酮中经氧化反应后,蒸出丙酮,将反应物酸化至pH为4,得粗品,经乙醇精制后即得2-乙氧基萘甲酸成品。

用途:用于有机合成。该品与氧化亚砜在80℃以下反应2h,减压蒸出过量的氯化亚砜,即得2-乙氧基萘甲酰氯。这是抗菌素类药乙氧萘青霉素钠的中间体。
