What was the role of FeCl2 in the formation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles ？ In the section on interferences the authors state that PO4(3-) will not interfere when in 500 fold excess. This statement doesn't seem to be relevant since the analytical method involves the use of a phosphate buffer at g/L levels. A similar statement about the interference of K and Na also lacks relevance since both metals (in particular K) are present in g/kg levels in meat. Thus reference to Figure 1 should be made here |
