对待你的亲人，请耐心点 This is a true story which happened in the States.A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son washappily hammering dents into the shiny paint. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammeredthe little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son tothe hospital. Although the doctor tried desperatelyto save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputatethe fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck."Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going togrow back?" The father went home & committed suicide. Think about the story the next time u see someonespill milk at a dinner table or hear a baby crying.Think first before u lose your patience with someoneu love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance. People make mistakes. We are allowed to makemistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will hauntus forever. Pause and ponder. Think before you act. Be patient.Understand & love. 这是一个发生在美国的真实的故事。 一个男人走出房子，欣赏他的新卡车。 出乎意料的是，他三岁的儿子居然正很高兴的在卡车光亮的漆面上敲打，漆面上出现了不少凹痕。 这个男人一下子冲到他的儿子面前，把他赶跑。惩罚孩子的时候，他气急败坏，下手太重。 当这个父亲平静下来的时候，匆忙地带着他的孩子去了医院。尽管医生拼命地去挽救那些已经碎了的骨头，但是最终还是要把所有的手指从孩子的双手切除。当这个男孩从手术室出来，然后醒来看到自己的双手被绷带包扎只剩手掌时，天真的说“爸爸，我真抱歉把你的卡车搞成那样子”然后又问，“但是我的手指什么时候才能长回来呢？” 这个父亲一回家，就自杀了。 当你看到有人在晚餐把牛奶撒了或者听到婴儿哭声的时候想想这个故事。在你对你所爱的人失去耐心之前先思考一下。卡车可以被修复，但是，断骨、被伤了的心可不能。 我们总是不能识别一个人的本质和他的外在表现的差别。 人常常犯错，我们可以允许这些错误的发生，但是我们所作出的这些愤怒导致的行为会永久的萦绕在心里，不能散去。 停下来好好想一想，行动之前先思考，学着耐心一点。学会理解和爱。 生词： Hammering V. beat with or as if with a hammer Dents n. an appreciable consequence (especially a lessening), a depression scratched or carved into a surface.
