1.中间的“normal in the microbial communities of a healthy population”修饰“configurations”
2.前、后两部分都是“A of B”结构：
前半部分简单，后半部分应该是：characterization（A）of a,b and c.
a.即the epidemiology，b.即the ecology ，c.即translational applications of the human microbiome


鄙人是这么解读的，不知道对不对…………
