I can't agree a thesis like that.Although money is not the opposite of happiness,one can hardly say that they are companions.
I would emphasize again that happiness is sort of feelings that you feel about your self.How can you buy a kind of feeling?Your answer itself is based on a pseudo proposition that if you choose money and denied happiness,you can buy your happiness back.Would that be possible?How can you buy the very feelings that is just denied by you yourself?
Poor counples mourn for everything,but don't you realize that the mourn itself contains some happiness?
Men are creatures of consistence which notes the poor fact that if you chooce money and deny hapiness at one time,you will take the same choice at next time.If you continue to do so,you are getting far away from happiness.

Your spelling of 'couple' is wrong,which mislead me to the same error.

That's pity. It might be nice to get some time off to spend your money. Otherwise probably no point o earn it more.
On the other hand it would be mercy to give your money to someone elso who need them more urgently, for example poor children in village. You might feel happyniss the moment when you see they smile and say thanks to you.
Or you could give it to me. I need them too.

I agree money doesn't equal to happiness. Happiness is a kind of feeling. Could you deny when you could afford for your favorive collection, you feel happy and when your boy or girl friend because of lack of money would be able to come to see your this weekend from your hometown to your college, you feel sad? So it meant, at least in some points money could help us to bring happiness, to create happiness. And I think nowadys poor couples would not feel happy when they mourn, they could not afford to buy their own house. Most of them, end up in divorce, I guess . Remember it is not the old times anymore!

You just can't guess everything.There're a lot of things you don't know until you experience it.Thus you don't hold your own opinions.
It is even more pathetic that you don't kown what is real happiness.
