NANO 2012 XI International Conference on Nanostructured Materials (NANO2012) is a continuum of Biannual NANO Conferences initiated in 1992. It is the traditional meeting place for Distinguished Nanomaterials Scientists to present State-of-the-Art Research and Advanced Discoveries in the field. NANO2012 offers the unique opportunity to Celebrate its Twenty Year Anniversary of Successful International NANO Conferences. Moreover, the NANO2012 location close proximity to emerging countries in the Middle East, Arab World and Africa offers the unique opportunity for collaborative participation. NANO2012 SCOPE NANO2012 Conference highlights areas of Research with the greatest potential to benefit Society, Science and Industry. The overall objectives of the Conference are to: . Provide a Vehicle of Exchange of Ideas, Techniques, Experiments and Applications in the exciting and rapidly developing Field of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies Welcome a New Breed of Scientists and Engineers who offer Novel Ideas and Future Directions for the NANO Community Commemorate the Success of Nanostructured Materials Conferences for the past Twenty Years by an extraordinary gathering of Past, Present and Future NanoScientists Promote Unique Opportunities for Collaborative Research among various countries including emerging countries in the Middle East, Arab World and Africa, due to their proximity to the NANO2012 Conference location Develop a Unified Approach in the assessment and management of potential human health, energy-related and environmental risks that may be associated with the use of Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnologies Consider the social/ethical implications of Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnologies Explicate the Legal, Business and Intellectual Property issues that influence the transition from research to commercialization of Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnologies Identify priority areas of Research and Development that are considered to have the greatest contribution to Society, Science and Industry . Conference language will be in English. All original contributions will be arranged in the form of plenary, invited, oral and poster presentations, with parallel sessions dedicated to specific thematics. PROCEEDINGS Authors are invited to submit Full Manuscripts related to their presentation for publication in a Special Issue of The Nano Journal. Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and edited to satisfy standard quality requirements prior to publication.
