[求助] 对方邀请函没有明确写研究领域行不行？

去美国1年做访问学者，已获得市里头和学校资助。
对方发来的邀请函，内容说道去和XXX教授“合作”一年，希望期间在学术研究上有所收获，就是没具体说研究领域、研究方向、具体课题。
这样办签证的时候会不会有问题？

Dear Dr. XXX

I am delighted to welcome you to XXXX as a Visiting Scholar for the period of XXX to XXX. I understand that you will be collaborating with Professor XXX in the Department of Economics.

Upon your arrival to campus, Dr. XXX will make arrangements for your to meet with staff in the Center for International Education at which time your visa documents will be reviewed to make certain that they are in order. As you will not be compensated in this assignment, Dr. XXX will also have a Volunteer Assignment Form prepared which will provide instructions on obtaining a campus identification card, which will provide you accesss to University facilities, including access to the University Library, and complimentary parking privileges.

I hope that you will enjoy your association with the University and that you find your scholarly research endeavors both rewarding and challenging.
