| In detail, antigen-presenting cells recognize an allergen which has invaded the body, and then display the allergen, thus inducing Th0 cells to differentiate into Th2 cells in the presence of IL-4. Th2 cells secrete cytokines such as IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13. In turn, IL-4 and IL-5 act on B cells to induce the production of IgE. |
