[交流] Dry, hot and tranquil

It is very hot today, the highest temperature may be 35.

It has not rained for about one month.

The overlap of the hotness and the dryness makes the weather more intolorable.

About one forth of the students have left the campus, you can feel the campus suddenly becomes tranquil.

There is no student playing basketball or football in such a scorching weather on the playground outside my window, which makes the campus more tranquil.

No student come and knock at the door of my office, no noice of approaching giggling in the corridor as they have done many times before.

A hot, dry and tranquil noon.

It is so hot that we can not endure it if the temperater keeps on increasing. No one can play football on the playground like usual. Every one as far as possible avoid going out and walking on the campus at noon. The campus becomes rather quiet compared with other time period of the day. Sleeping or at least reducing movement is the best choice at noon. I hope scientists can invent a convenient tool to collet the extral thermal energy from environment in summer  and release it to the environment in winter. If it is true some day, the temperature will be constant in all year.
