Owing to so many wonderful participator's support, we held the Spoken English Show favorably in YY for the sixth time in 2nd, June. However, here I am still willing to aim at some existing problems and give some suggestions from my own perspective.
I found an phenomenon from the past activities that many participators are too shy to speak it out. Every time when I encounter questions such as how I can improve my spoken English or how I can communicate with others in English. I wonder as well, and I would also like to know the answer. Actually, after a thorough consideration, especially when I took an IELTS oral examination two weeks ago, I finally figure it our. Yes, just speak it out as loud as you can. No matter how you can speak it well or not, firstly, you must make the first step! In addition, no matter how you can write well or just have thoughts in your mind, if you don't express your words by saying it directly, you can't solve the problem.
Let's take swimming for example. You will never learn to swim by just standing the side of the swimming pool with tension and lacking of enough courage to jump into the water. Neither can you know well how to swim by thinking that only when I grasp all the theories and principles of swimming then I can finally begin to swim. Now I have to tell you, it's totally absolute wrong. It's the time for you to change your mind. That is, if you want to learn swimming, you have to go into the water without any hesitation. Similarly, if you want to improve your spoken English, you have no choice but say it. Not in the future, but now! There is no shortcut, just swimming by swimming, speaking by speaking. The most important thing, first of all, is say it out loud, no matter you speak it well or not, here nobody will mock or laugh at you. Only by doing so, can we improve our oral English and make a progress. So important is the oral English and so precious is time that we can not afford to waste any chance of practice.
We are looking forward to your participation and wonderful performance!
与其畏畏缩缩的把自己吓死在起跑点,不如拿出勇气和魄力,JUST DO IT! 看看到底会不会死嘛,答案当然是绝对不会,不仅你获得了提高,某种程度上还能改掉拖延症的坏毛病,you know, the dread of doing a task uses up more time and energy than doing the task itself.
