My second time join in oral english party

Last night was my second time to join in oral english party through YY, I feel sth different, u know ,last week there were only 8-10 people there maybe, only four of us speak english out, but last night more than 15 friends join in. Our host's oral english is so good, her english is very fluent and her pronunciation just passes muster. I really admire her. She can control our party, keep asking questiones, and make everyone want to talk, that's wonderful! May 26th, that was the first time I attended YY, after that, I told my friend to listen our record, after listening, she told me: shelley, I don't get u at all, but the one who speaks with u is so good( she said about emmatang). I am upset, but I told her:dear, this is my merit, no one can defeat me except myself, I love oral english so I should speak out, I know I am not good, but I will try my best to be. Actually I did what I said, but I know courage is not enough to speak out loudly, I need to improve myself day by day, swimming by swimming, speaking by speaking~ What I will do next? last night, i was only available for the second half. to be honest, it was not as good as i expected. i think smaller group will give the attendee more chance to speak, otherwise it would be more or less like a speech, you know, to which most of the audience play as the listener. besides, some of the partners exposed in the family atmosphere mixed with the talk between couples, father and daughter etc, which i think is not responsible for the other partners. of course, the party is for fun and relaxation, but i believe most of the attendees prefer to listen the speaker clearly to make themselves follow the speaker so as to get prepared to talk. for this, i think, staying in the quiet room is the guarantee. the above are just my immature views. hopefully, what i said will not annoy you. may English Cafe YY party better and better. |

I will attend the next topic in oral english by YY, firstly I think I should load the soft then set up it .which is the right way to improve english, my english is so poor, I don't konw wether I can open my mouth to talk in english. but I want to set out the first step to attend it. |

I agree with u, I leaved at 9;30 maybe, at first our host and attendees were really great ,after 9:00 I think people want to say chinese, so maybe the atmosphere is not so good, and I believe ur sugesstion is great, the host will noticed about this. One new activity happened, it needs time to grow up, so just give us more time, more choice to be strong, will u join us next time? |

that 's awesome! u know what? at YY activity, u know nobody, everyone there just strangers, u can relax and open ur mouth, say waht u want, then u will find out what's ur dismerits, maybe when u notice what's u lack, u will try ur best to fix it or u let it continue, it is up to u, but trying is necessary. plus: whne u want speak, u need prepare a little~ |
