It’s the time for 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. All of football fans are looking forward to enjoying the main sporting event of the year.

The UEFA European Football Championship is the main football competition of the men's national football teams governed by UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations. It has been held every four years since 1960. The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship is commonly referred to as Euro 2012 that will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It is the first time that the nations have hosted the tournament. Thousands of the people from around the world will travel Poland and Ukraine for this event.

There will be sixteen national teams in finals, as has been the format since 1996. The sixteen finalists have been divided into four groups.

Group A: Poland (co-host), Greece, Russia and Czech Republic
Group B: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Portugal
Group C: Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland and Croatia
Group D: Ukraine (co-host), Sweden, France and England

Opponents such as Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, England, Croatia and Denmark all rank inside FIFA’s top 10 teams, while Russia, Italy, Greece, France, Sweden and Republic of Ireland are all ranked inside the top 20. Unfortunately, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Portugal have been drawn together in a group for death. Croatia and Italy have been placed in Group C along with Spain, as the defending champions. The favorites for this summer’s tournament include Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and France. In according to groups, it seems that none of them have overwhelming superiority in winning.

I have great expectations of Germany and I always support Germany. The official slogan for the Euro 2012 is “Von Spiel zu Spiel zum großen Ziel!(一场一场，实现大梦想！)”. And in the history of the tournament, Germany is the most successful team that has win three times in six final appearances. The full list of players who will take part in the event has been published. The players include Gómez, Müller, Klose, Ozil, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Lahm, Neuer, etc. Joachim Low, an amazing coach has not given the first starting until now.I have great expectations of German chariot that is going to be challenged to get out the group stage against the strong opponents, Netherlands and Portugal.

Opening ceremony, EURO kicks off in Warsaw, will take place in main city of Poland, it's an amazing opportunity to enjoy the most exciting football event in 2012.
