| In the context of National Energy Conservation Promotion,the energy consumption issues of wastewater treatment plants are increasingly important. By comparing the carbon emission data with the actual energy consumption,we obtained that:the higher energy consumption level,the greater carbon emission per unit. The energy consumption should be combined with carbon emissions to establish an energy consumption - carbon emission evaluation system, which can realize a low carbon operation at the same time as a a relatively larger reduction in energy and material consumption. |

| Energy consumption problems of the sewage treatment plants become more and more salient against the background of energy conservation and emission reduction being advocated across the country. Comparing the data of carbon emission and the real energy consumption situation, we come to a conclusion that the higher the level of energy consumption of the sewage treatment plants, the more the carbon emission per unit, so we need to take into consideration of both energy consumption and carbon emission to establish an evaluation system for energy consumption and carbon emission. Only in this way can we realize low-carbon operation while reducing energy consumption and material costs by a wider margin. |
