short correspondence有什么具体的格式吗？

最近投了一篇GENE杂志，编辑给的审稿意见如下：“We are pleased to inform you that your paper will be reconsidered for publication pending minor revisions. Based on editorial evaluation, we believe that the scope and depth of this paper is limited and as such does not provide a significant advance in knowledge. Consequently, your manuscript may be acceptable under the new category "Short Correspondence" pending appropriate revisions that address the comments of the reviewer(s). This category permits the same access through PubMed or Elsevier portals, but does indicate that the paper is shorter than a Regular Paper in fairness to authors who provide a more complete study.” 大体意思是要改成short correspondence。在论坛上搜索了很久，short correspondence是比regular paper要短，图要少。我的文章一共才3178个word，4个图，请问各位大侠，还应该做哪方面的修改啊？ |

short correspondence的格式其实也就是论文出来后的short communcation格式，论文上面显示short communcation而不是regular paper。 具体格式跟原来一样，稿件修改后上传的时候选择short correspondence（里面没有short communcation选项），其余不变。 PS。这是我们在上面连续short communcation2篇文章的经验。 其实也可以在其他网站上找到答案，我第一次也问过这个问题的。 |
