1. Position： Lab Manager Formulation Principles CS Shanghai
Report to N.N. (Manager R&D CS Shanghai), Dr. Burghard Gruening
Subordinates Two technicians/lab assistants
Purpose of the position Group Leader Formulation Principles CS Shanghai
Lead a physicochemically oriented laboratory working group
Be a coach to team members
Lead innovation projects
Contribute to innovation projects
Principle accountability Make sure that safety requirements are followed
Support application technology with fundamental input and studies
Develop new formulation concepts on the basis of understanding the fundamental phenomena including the application processes
External co-operations in the field of formulation of surfactant based systems.
Contribute to innovation with ideas and identify new technology fields for CS
Customer contacts when appropriate
Report on a regular basis.
Technical knowledge base Master in physico chemistry or related, with minimum 3 years experience in surfactant related fields or PHD
Wide field of interests
Team and resource management Independent and target oriented working style
Able to take initiatives
Good communication skills
Team player
Fluent in English
Able to work across functional and cultural boundaries

2. Laboratory Manager Polymer Synthesis R&D CS Asia in Xinzhuang, Shanghai
Your tasks:
Lead a preparative laboratory working group
Lead innovation projects
Make sure that safety requirements are followed
Contribute to open innovation
Carry out basic physico-chemical characterization of polymers
Work together in local or international, internal or external projects
Have customer contacts when appropriate
Your background:
Master in preparative polymer chemistry or organic chemistry
Minimum 3 years of experience in synthesis
PhD preferred
Fluent in English
Your profile:
Independent and target oriented working style
Able to take initiatives
Team player
Good communication skills

3. Supervisor Intellectual Research R&D CS Asia in Xinzhuang, Shanghai
Your tasks:
Support Innovation Management (IM) CS Asia with literature and patent research
Follow and monitor literature including patents
External communication such as publication support
Contribute to innovation with ideas and identify new technology fields for CS
Contribute to and foster open innovation
Take initiative, help to install or to keep contact to universities and other external research institutes
Screen start ups together with the Tech Scouting department (in Germany)
Frequent communication with colleagues and headquarter, identify possible synergy effects

Your background:
Master in chemistry
Experience in literature research
More than 3 years experience in chemical industry is preferred
Fluent in English
