PhD student or Postdoctoral position in epigenetics and stem cell biology Description: A position for PhD student or postdoctoral researcher is available to investigate a novel epigenetic modification in pluripotent stem cells. Project: The Interdepartmental Stem Cell Institute at KU Leuven, Belgium is seeking a PhD student or post-doctoral researcher interested in the study of DNA methylation, hydroxymethylation and histone modifications during early embryonic lineage specification and during differentiation of pluripotent stem cells. Previous experience or interest in embryonic stem cell (ESC) and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) cultures and genome-wide epigenetic profiling is desired. Candidate will have the support of several groups within the Stem Cell Institute offering strong expertise in the derivation of specific cell lineages from ESC and iPSC.
