醛基类物质甲醛和戊二醛一直作为皮革化工材料中的优良鞣剂而被广泛使用，但是醛基作为活性染料的活性基的研究报道尚少见。本文主要是把具有生物相容性而与蛋白质纤维结合不牢固的染料转变为带有醛基的活性染料，使其拥有更好的耐水洗性能，并且做了以下研究工作：
Methanal and glutaraldehyde have been widely used as excellent tanning agent of leather chemical materials but aldehyde group used as active group of reactive dye is still rarely reported. In this paper the dyestuff with biocompatibility which cannot combine with the protein fiber tightly is transformed into reactive dye with aldehyde group which offer a better washing endurable ability and the following research is done:
