论文被编辑选入Special issue，什么情况？

本人一篇论文被一国际SCI期刊接受，近日收到主编来信，说欲将我的这篇论文做为中国近年来在这一研究领域较有影响力（impressive efforts）的12篇论文之一，选入该杂志为即将到来的一个国际会议准备的special issue中发表，问我们同不同意。有经验的同志帮我分析分析是否会有不利影响？原文如下： Dear colleagues, I am preparing a Special Issue dedicated to the upcoming International Conference on Cemented Carbides in September 2012 at Zhuzhou. This issue will exclusively contain twelfe contributions of Chinese authors in order to demonstrate the impressive efforts of the scientific community of China to the field of Cemented Carbides, other Hard Materials and Refractory Metals (corresponding to the scope of our journal).
