| At the low end, the value could be the cost of replacing incremental H2 at a modern highly efficient H2 plant that is not constraining the refinery. In this case, the value of recovering 5 MMSCFD of H2 from fuel and backing out production at the H2 plant is about 0.6 MM$/yr. The value of H2 progressively increases as the cost of incremental H2 increases and the alternate disposition is lower. |
