For different occasions, one should make flexible use of centralized or distributed data processing and mining models. Distributed sensor networks, for example, could send all the data to the Meeting Point based on limited computing node and storage, power constraints. However, such strategy can not optimize the transmission of expensive energy. In fact, they, in most cases, do not need all of the raw data, instead, they only focuse on the value of some parameters.
As an significant direction for the development of next-generation Internet, Internet of things has attractted the attention of industry and academia. The data in Internet of Things has many features, such as distributed storage, a lot of relevant data on time and place, and limited node resources, etc., which are also challenging tasks for data accessing in Internet of Things.
