For 16 EPA-PAHs concentration in surface water of the Hun River, a distinct seasonal pattern was observed that the average concentration of 16 EPA-PAHs in surface water was 286.75 ng l-1 in dry-period, 3066.79 ng l-1 in flood-period, and 4346.71 ng l-1, in level-period, respectively. In particular, the concentrations of 16 EPA-PAHs in level-period were about twenty times of those in dry-period. However, the ∑PAH16 concentration relations between upstream and downstream sites of the Hun River was relatively complex, with no obvious trend being observed in three periods, but the PAHs concentration in water sampling from outflow site of Dahuofang reservoir in three periods was low.
