Always be a first-rate version of yourself

People will love you for being an original, not trying to be someone else. You've got to be you. You can't be some 2nd rate copy of Michael Jordan. There will never be another Michael Jordan. Just be Jeremy Lin — yourself. Whatever that is. That doesn't mean you don't work hard — it just means you find what you're good at and do it. Fans will love you for being you, just like they love Jeremy Lin.
