职位名称：Sr.Analytical Engineer
Purpose of the Position:
• Provide SEM/EDX and FT-IR analytical services for understanding/solving of product and process related problems to AE/PE, Eng and Mfg of Corning Glass Technology in China.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Provide following services to AE/PE, Eng, Mfg of CDT in China.
o Surface/edge defect characterization by SEM/EDX
o Inclusion analysis by SEM/EDX
o Organic stain characterization by FT-IR
o Other analysis using SEM/EDX, FT-IR and optical microscope
(above jobs include sample preparation and equipment operation by him/herself.)

• Participate in global problem solving activities in surface related product and process issues, including business trip to Japan/Taiwan.
• Participate in development and standardization activities of measurement and characterization capabilities in Asia Analytical Laboratories.
 Maintenance and calibration of SEM/EDX, FT-IR, microscopes and related peripheral equipment.
