Title: Analytical Chemist
Report to: Analytical Supervisor
Location: Shanghai PuDong District

Key objective & responsibilities
General Purpose
* Support GCS business which is keeping on growing significantly;
* To prepare the technical resource for the sustaining development;
Functional Responsibilities:
* To communicate with the analytical experts in Stine and to install the analytical method in DuPac;
* To be the analytical guardian to the current GCS projects, and solve the problem of routine analysis;
* To perform the GLP study for standard characterization, method validation and 5-datch analysis;(in the future)
* To develop the analytical methods to support the GCS business;(in the future)
* the study of unknown peak;(in the future)
* routine analysis;

Skill and Knowledge Required:
* With the education background of analytical chemistry (including instrumental analysis and chemical analysis), chemistry(organic and inorganic), process chemistry; knowledge of chrometography;
* with the Master degree or above of analytical chemistry
* Relevant working experience in the field of the analytical chemistry or instrument analysis such as HPLC, GC,LC/MS,GC/MS
* Good verbal and written capability in both English and Mandarin.

Reports to: IPP - AP Application Research Leader
Location: DRDM, Shanghai
Responsibilities:

Lab Engineer is responsible for lab routines and lab system management, works with internal & external resource to improve lab testing capability, act as key window for product certification and standard consultation, technically guides lab assistants and strictly follow SHE, lab safety rules and ISO 9001 quality guidelines to provide timely and quality lab service to the stakeholders.
Performs routine testing activities independently.
Collect fair & accurate test data, analyze test results and report it out.
Be responsible for periodic test equipment maintenance & calibration for valid use.
Update and/or establish SOPs to operate the testing equipments correctly and safely.
Ensure the lab management system with compliance to ISO 9001 certification and coordinate/lead other segments for yearly audit.
Work with internal expertise and external lab testing resource to improve and/or newly establish lab testing capability to business needs. (New test procedures, methods, equipments…)
Will be an important interface and coordinator for product certification, standards consultation between governments & special agencies and cross functional teams.
Technically guide lab assistant, audit and crossly check the test result/report before officially release.
Collect WRS data and report it out from different application monthly for lab resource justification & balance.
Strictly follow the safety rules, closely involved in lab safety controls and contribute to risk corrections.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or above in textile engineering, material engineering, chemistry or the related
At least 3 years lab working experience, at least 60% his o her working hours is dedicated to testing in the previous job
Hands-on knowledge of lab equipments operation, maintenance and lab management, knowledge about ISO17025 and experience from CNAS certified Lab is big plus
Good communication skill
Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit
Good command of English both in writing and speaking
