Acta mater,scripta mater,METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS TRANSACTIONS A,
Materials Science and Engineering A, Journal of alloy and compounds, Material letter,
Philosophical Magazine；Journal of Materials Research；Journal of Materials Science；Advanced Engineering Materials；Materials Science Forum；JOM；Proceedings of the Royal Society a；International Journal of Plasticity；Advanced Materials（偏化学，金属少）；
Journal of Materials Science & Technology；Mrs Bulletin；International Journal of Materials Research等，及综述类的如：Progress in Materials Science；Annual Review of Materials Research；Materials science and Engineering Report.
在物理类期刊上也不时见到金属材料文章，如：Physical Review Letters ；Applied Physics Letters；Journal of Applied Physics；Physics of the Solid State；Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids；
其它综合类杂志偶尔有金属材料的文章，常见的如 Nature，Science，Nature Materials，Nature Communications；PNAS （Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America），
