| I It has not yet been clarified which component contributes the majority of free －OH groups, the remaining liquefaction reagent or the product of the wood liquefaction process. In other words, it is not known if the converted wood in the liquid mixture acts as a polyol component for further reactions or only as a filler in preparation of the mentioned biocopolymers, or both. One way of obtaining this information could be to remove residual liquefaction reagent and examine thusly formed liquefied wood-based biopolymers. |
