Very thorough reference with significant background depth. One of the best overall LDA references I have found. Date: 1998-12-07 Rating: 1 Review: Less cooperation among three co-authors This is the second book I have read on LDV. It does gives principles of LDA. However, the book is difficult to be a systematic reference. The book was written by three different authors. there is less cooperation among coauthors. The contents of different chapter are overlapped a lot. For a good book, those contents should be inter-refered. A lot of symbols are used for the same phsical parameter by different coauthors in different chapters. One can easily find that the book was separately written by three authors without even telephones to communicate with each other. I don't recommend it for first time readers.
