about the lunar Jan.29th

In the early moring, mum phoned me, and reminded me that i should have a bowl of noodles with two eggs today. After having them, i loaded in Baidu to search for some explanation to this custom. Then, I catch it. In fuzhou, today is "拗九节". One who get up to the age of 9, 18, and others being related to "9", should have "拗九粥" or "太平面"(sorry, i really don't know how to translate it). Because the number "9" is seemed as an ominous number in fuzhou. and in fact, there is even an interest story about it. And then, i am also curious that, is there any other places where have some other customs today, the 29th of the first month of the lunar year? |
