Introduction of your workplace in English

Many universities and companies have their English brief information in their websites, and so do the schools or colleges of the universities. However, few departments of the shools or colleges of the universities, that is, the mayjor you are learning, or of the companies have made their English brief introduction. For instance, I study chemistry in Institute of Applied Chemistry of Soochow Univerty, but only can find Chinese information of the my college, no Chinese introduction of the department(Institute of Applied Chemistry ), let alone the English one in the web-page. That's so easy. Mine is as bellow. The Institute of Applied Chemistry of Soochow University, founded in the middle of 1980s, emphasizes both on teaching and scientific researching. The Institute of Applied Chemistry consists of 5 research groups and contains 31 faculty and staffs, including 6 full professors, 4 associate professors and 2 lecturers. The Institute of Applied Chemistry relis on the College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science of Soochow University, cooperating with many enterprises for years. Its main research fields are currently composed of new functional polymer materials, nano-materials, functional ionic liquids, clean energy and device, and hybrid materials on micro/nano-scale. The Institute of Applied Chemistry has a high development ability, aiming at becoming a comprehensive scientific institute with a certain reputation and influence in the world, as well as integrating with fundamental research, application study, high-tech innovation and industrialization. Its primary mission is to raise the level of science and technology serving economic and social development, and strive to make important breakthroughs in the innovative talent cultivation, high-lever research paper and high-tech achievement. |
